Not So Hot
The Ariel Towers caused quite a stir when they were built, and are not universally popular in the neighborhood. Everyone agreed that the buildings radically changed the neighborhood’s look, but not everyone welcomed the change. The controversy was documented in depth by Jim Rasenberger in the New York Times this past June. While many people relish living in such a notable building, others may find themselves more at home in a less notable- and less controversial- building.
